Socializing Your Puppy

  While Brittanys are, by nature, generally agreeable and affectionate dogs, as with any breed it is important to provide your puppy with a variety of social situations as frequently as possible to ensure they develop into well balanced dogs.
  However, care must be taken with puppies under sixteen weeks that have not received all of their immunizations. Until then, it is important to avoid public areas where other unvaccinated animals may frequent. Before sixteen weeks, visits to and from other known healthy pets are encouraged.
